So yes, As the video states Ive tried  doing this before like over a year ago and it never works out but I finally did it right. :)


On Saturday, Was Derricks B-day and it was at the Farm. So I went there and spent time with the fam during the day... then at night I saw Sucker Punch with Marlene and it was Amazing, I really liked it, I thought I wasn't going to like it that much but I did.

I started and finished a new book last night, honestly I didn't even know I had finished until it said the end. It was an entertaining book. I really liked it, not as much as the Amanda Hocking books but it was pretty good. I love reading these books, these self publishing authors are quite talented and have unique writing styles, to say the least they keep me wanting to read more of their books.

Either way my list on the side bar there is becoming more and more red, I think I'll have that done by summer which means I may very well exceed my goal! :)

Anyway, I keep forgetting to post up the Nail Polish Color of the week, (Bad Miry) So here it is...


Its time to say so long, readers, but since my mind is on overdrive today I will probably be back later to write more.

Its 15 minutes to Midnight and then it will be Tuesday, My Wednesday was great! No complains here, my body feels sore but in a good way I have laughed and been silly, and the best part I just finished Hollowland which I give 5 stars, definitely recommended this book if your into zombies!

So tomorrow I am going to post a before picture on my fitness blog of how I look now, its standard procedure for me to do so as to keep track of the changes my body goes through, today my daily workout was intense I posted the workout I did on... http://r4improvement.blogspot.com.

Anyway theres so much more to talk about but I just started a new book and i want to finish half of it before I go to sleep.

Rebecca Black...Who?

Alright, so its Friday and I am actually waking up to the radio about some girl called Rebecca Black as I am getting to work I am thinking who is this person they are talking about, so I hear this name all during the day, the evening and finally my curiosity got the better of me, so I decide it was time to sit in my nice, not so comfy computer chair, decide which of my monitors I want to display, because being the comp geek I am and how many projects I work on at the same time adding a second or even a third monitor can seriously boost your productivity, just saying. Sooo... I enter my Google Chrome browser (my fav) then proceed to YouTube and type in Rebecca Black in the search bar. I then go ahead to watch the video and my reaction was something like this...

Utterly terrible.... What Mommy and Daddy can buy you...Just a bunch of rich, talentless kids paying through the teeth to be treated like a popstar for a few hours.

So there it is a little piece of Miry's mind. If you want to know what I am talking about Just google or youtube it and be quite horrified like I was.

Goodnight my lovely readers, its time to settle into bed and finish my Red Riding Hood before I watch the movie this weekend.

The weekend was full of birthday activities and fun surprises!

Going through this quickly:

Thursday:  I had no Idea... Surprise!!  Annie and I headed to the Ale House for some Birthday Drinks :)














Friday: I worked all day and then at night  I met Mabelle and Manny at the Improv for a comedy show with the headlining comedian Bryan Callen from The Hangover and MADtv.

Saturday:  I had Birthday Breakfast at my faaaaaavorite breakfast place Einsteins Bros Bagels, yum yum yum, during the day I just relaxed, at night We went to the club Space, where I locked my keys in the car, but luckily I have good friends surrounding me. Luis did me the favor of retreiving my keys from the vehicle! :) It was a fun night!


Sunday: Was a very chill day had a barbque withthe family at the house and then went to watch Battle Los Angeles, which was a good movie. I don't know about you guys, but everytime I see movies like that I want to strap on some big tough girl boots and my gun and just go hunting for hostile alien enemies. Hahaha

Besides that its been a quiet week and Im just relaxing and working hard you know making that money.

My night yesterday was very nice :)

I got a surprise birthday cake with all my friends waiting for me at my house while my friend made some excuse as too why we just couldn't directly go to the Ale House. So Surprise I usually suspect things but no this time they caught me completely by surprise!

I got a present which I love very much, as everyone knows the Red Riding Hood movie is out in theaters and it's based on a book. Well he bought me the book! Yay! So mission is to read it before we go watch it next week so Hollowland is going to have to hold on for a bit. :(

24 years ago today, at 10:19PM to be exact I was comng out of my mothers... What a glorious day it was, I was my mother first and my dad's third. Actually, I was the first born child to the Martinez Family (Mom's Side), needless to say I was the apple of their eye, the golden child, the happiness after a series of darkness and misfortunes. Like the circle of life says when there is death there is also birth.

Anyway, yes, it is my birthday today and I am at work itching to get out and start my celebrations! :)

Its been a pretty uneventful week.

So I finished another book last night Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick and I Just started a new one today called Hollowland by Amanda Hocking. The list is starting to look like I may have to add more to it soon. I wouldnt be surprised if I read a hundred books this year. ::Fingers Crossed::

Last night Fernando and I went to Churchills to watch Fernando's friends band, then we went to his friends house to watch a movie, we watched 127 Hours. It was a great movie, I definitely recommend it as a must watch. Amazing movie based on a true story, so if your at home bored or want to have a movie night with friends or a significant other Go ahead and rent 127 Hours.
