Puzzles & Challenges

3:01 PM Unknown 0 Comments

Lately my way of thinking has altered a bit, I am thinking of everything as a challenge, as a puzzle that I must solve. I don't know why I have started thinking this way, but its been a recent alteration to my thought process that I like very much.

Does future hold 'Avatar'-like bodies for us?

Article: Does future hold 'Avatar'-like bodies for us?

How far is too far, I ask, the possibility of immortality seems like great idea, but at what cost?

As I was reading this article I came across this...
"Humanity is about going beyond biological limitations," said Ray Kurzweil, the inventor and futurist whose vision drives the Singularity Institute.

How is that humanity? Humanity is about being human, living out the human experience no matter what card your dealt with. Don't get me wrong, I am not for this or against this, its interesting to me and would very much like to see if this can be accomplished, but do not claim by any means that Humanity is about going beyond biological limitations because we were built as it was intended. The correct statement that should have been used would be "Science is about going beyond biological limitations."

Math, Anime, Grey Eyes

1:49 PM Unknown 0 Comments

Let's get right to it Yesterday I had a Math final, as I walked into the classroom I felt confident that I would do a good job. After a while working some problems I became a bit less confident in my mathematical abilities and the studying I had done. Not only is math my worst subject, I am also a terrible test taker. For now I beleive I did a decent job and I am anxiously awaiting my final scores and overall grade... I just hope with all my heart that I passed... If not I will break down. One thing is for sure though I like math more now than I ever have.
Every now and then  I choose an Anime (Since I love Anime) and watch the whole series. This time when it was time to choose it was Death Note, at first I really didn't think I would like it. Since I am a girl I am more into girly types of anime with the obvious love story ties into it, but this story actually caught my attention. Its basically about a High school student who is a genius and is bored with his existence until he finds a Death Notebook left behind in the human world by a demon of sorts. In this Death Note he can write the name of anyone he wants and they die. Its so interesting because it always keeps you on your toes wanting to know whats next. I totally recommend it to anyone. Best part of it all is that they have a real life movie, which I can't wait to see after finishing the series.

Two days ago I picked out a book on Amazon for my kindle, I love $.99 kindle deals. The book I picked out is called Grey Eyes by Brandon Alston & Quinteria Ramey. I finished it in two days, I was skeptical at first because I had read mixed reviews on it so I was hesitant to buy it. I did anyway and started to read, the first night if it wasnt for the fact that sleep took over I would have probably tried to finish all in the same night but I ended up half way, yesterday I finished this book was amazing a fresh story with an interesting twist and interesting characters. I totally recommend it if you are a Fan of Amanda Hocking this is the feel I got from these books. I am so in love with this story that I already purchased the second book of this trilogy and I will start to read it tonight.

I guess this was sort of a let you guys know about my math final and review some things... teehee....I love posting and sharing the things that I love with all of you.

Laters!

Math and Two Glasses Later

4:50 PM Unknown 0 Comments

Hello!!
I am here on my second glass of White Zinfandel and sitting behind the computer doing math homework still, it's the last day and I am completely not into it, but I have been getting great scores on my homework. How?... I have no idea, but I am doing awesome, plus I have to finish before 6. That's the time I am giving myself, tomorrow I have a final and I must do great.

I am taking a little break because writing always makes me feel better, so does shopping, but I must not get up from this chair...  ::takes a sip:: my hair smells so nice and its super soft due to the products I bought yesterday. I can't wait to be done with this and watch a movie tonight.

Sooooooo..... Its back to work for me.

No weekend for me....

3:57 PM Unknown 0 Comments

Basically I am stuck doing home work the whole weekend I have to do 15 chapters of math homework, ::infinite tears::

Its completely my fault I procrastinated to do it, but it must be done and I must pass, so my weekend is nothing but homework and more homework and wait some more homework. UGHHHHHHH

:(

Once I am done with this I shall reward myself for great mathematical endurance and bravery.... plus giving up my weekend to pass math class.

Next semester I am getting four classes no math this well be worth it!

I have decided that I want to buy this shirt.

Hahahaha, well back to homework....

Its Pay The Bills Day

1:36 PM Unknown 0 Comments

Hi!

It's pay the bills day today, I have learned a great deal in the past two years about money managing and how to save more efficiently, for starters I have gone out of my way to make sure that all my bills land around the same time so they won't be scattered. This way I only do my bills once a month and not have to worry about it until the next month, plus It helps me manage my money a lot better. I keep a reconrd of everything on an excel spreadsheet to make sure that I have done everything precisely and on point.

I have had a cup of coffee today and I don't know if its because I changed the type of coffee I am now having in the morning, but I feel like I am going to have a heart attack! Ok, Ok so I am exaggerating a little bit but I do feel like I am on overdrive... so much so that my fingers are flying across the keyboard as I am writing this.

Another thing is that it's lunch time for me and I am going to let you in on a little healthy recipe...
1.) Whole Grains Pita bread or Regular bread
2.) Prego Veggie Sauce
3.) 2% Mozzarella shredded Cheese

Put them all together and what do you get?? A Mini Healthy Pizza!!!!

I am anxiously waiting for a few things...

-Shippment of my new makeup brushes.
-My Birchbox and GoGoGirlfriend Box
-To see if I win the Book Contest Giveaway!

I can't wait to hit up the gym today I have a lot of energy stored for today so I want to do a super intense workout with my awesome workout partner Ms. Mabelle who actually recently got her PT Cert. and I am so very proud of her, I also designed her Business cards...

Isn't it so cute!

Well anywho I will write another time I have to finish up some work!

It's like I flipped a switch.

Life is funny. You live and you learn and that's just how things go. You get lemons you make lemonade, you get apples you make apple pie, you get beans you plant them and hope it takes you to the sky where a giant lives and a goose lays golden eggs.

Damn... I am craving some lemonade now. I wonder if I have lemons in my house...

10 minutes later.... I didn't find lemons but I did find Limes, well one lime to be precise so I went ahead and made Limeade I put it in a fancy wine glass. I guess I am fancy like that, from this day forth I will drink everything in a wine glass. Misses Fancy pants they will call me!

Anyway I have had a productive day, from work, to keeping my followers happy with informative Weight loss tips, to writing on this here blog, to buying a much needed new External hard drive because mine has been acting up and I refuse to lose all my data and files.

I also have to go get ready soon for some very much needed exercise time, I am going to do a crazy intense workout and then attempt to run a mile.

Oh and one more thing, today I am wearing purple pants! Some people aren't brave enough but I am not just anyone.

Anywho... Toodooloo

A new kind of independence.

7:45 PM Unknown 0 Comments

I usually don't like to go eat by myself, or go to the movies by myself. Not because I can't, but because I like the social aspect of eating with a boyfriend or friends while having conversation and laughs. But today was one of those days where I just woke up and forced myself to go eat on my own. What I found is that it didn't feel as lonely as I thought it would feel. It actually feels empowering, like a new sense of independence. I had time to think, I had time to write down notes for the book I am writing, the ideas were just flowing because there was just me. I could listen to myself think!
